Alright...Here we go

My name is Michael Clow and I am as regular of guy as you would ever meet. I was born and raised in New Mexico. They weren't lying when they named it “the land of enchantment.” As I travel more and more, I always find myself missing the mild climate and clear blue sky's. I now live in Rio Rancho, NM with my beautiful wife Ashley and our two spoiled dogs, Princess and Coco.

I truly feel blessed to be able to earn a living from the comfort of my own home. Ashley runs her own business, so we are truly able to do what we want... when we want. I haven't heard the horrible screech of an alarm clock in years...well except for during The World Cup, I had to catch those 5AM soccer games ;)

Trading time...for money

I earned my first paycheck when I was nine years old. I use to referee soccer games on the weekend. The pay was good but those crazy soccer moms would threaten our lives if the call didn't go their kids way. I soon developed a thick skin...and it turned out be perfect for me for the next few years.

My teen years is when I got my first taste of sales. After stints as a dishwasher and shrimp-gutter at a local restaurant I heard about a job where I just talked on the phone all day...so of course I was all over it. I was working at a catalog call center, taking orders. One day we had a big meeting about this new program...we now had to offer a magazine subscription at the end of every order. I was thinking...Ehhhhh great more work, same pay! You know the feeling I'm sure you've had those “meetings” but then came the kicker...every customer that said YES was an extra dollar in my pocket. Before I knew it my minimum wage, phone job turned into a $20 dollar and hour Cash Machine!

I earned enough that summer to get my first car and more importantly...start investing. My friends still tell stories about me running to the bathroom in high school to check my stocks...my teachers probably thought I had some serious stomach problems. This was during the big technology and internet boom, I traded a few stocks and before I knew it my one thousand dollar account grew to five figures... in like 6 months! It was amazing and more importantly it was my first taste of Passive Income...I was making money while I was sleeping.

I used my stock fund to pay for my college expenses and continued to entertain my new found love for sales. Inbound sales got a little boring, so I decided to give telemarketing a try...don't hate me now. I went through my training and was on the auto-dialers for the first time, my quota was one sale in a 5 hr shift. And Guess What! I made 21 sales my first day. My quota went to 2.6 sales a day when I was out of training so as you can imagine I was earning some hefty commission checks. I was really starting to feel successful. I just turned 20 and bought the car I always wanted and nice house with a garage to park it in...but something was missing.

Starting to...See the Light

I was a good telemarketer and by then I was training and managing other telemarketers...but even as I type the word telemarketer I kinda cringe a little... I thought I could do something more rewarding with more meaning . I was making bank, so it was a tough decision, but I decided I would open my mind to new opportunities.

By this time the mortgage industry was really growing, lots of my co-workers were leaving our center to cold call for mortgage companies. A friend of mind did a interview with a mortgage company owner...he said the company “did some cool, different stuff” but he was still a bit confused. He asked if I would go meet with the guy and then maybe I could better explain it to him. I went..and that is how I met Jim.

Jim, the owner of the mortgage company was an old MLM veteran. He pitched me on the idea of me working for him, but also building a team of other telemarketers. I would be paid for my sales but also a portion of the sales my team made. The light bulb went on...I could make Passive Income like my stock investing days! I could be at home sleeping, and if these guys make a sale I will get paid...I was sold. Jim served as a mentor to me and really opened my eyes to the laws of attraction, personal development and passive income principles.

I spent seven years with Jim's company and became licensed in mortgage brokering and investment planning. I worked very hard to become the top producer in the company and built a team across five states. I was very proud to be a six figure earner, but was even more excited about my success as a leader. Mentoring complete newbies to become six figure earners gave me that meaning I was looking for. Not to mention many people have the dream to own their own home and it was very rewarding to help people accomplish this dream.

Wait...What just happened

I wish I could say I found internet marketing to make a little extra money, but this was not the case. Like many caught right in the middle of this housing turned economic crisis, I was searching for an opportunity out of necessity. In 2007 it was like someone flipped a switch and the career I had worked so hard for was...Gone. The six figure income my family and I were so accustomed to was...Gone. I could go on...and on about this bad situation, but these days I try to throw all negative thoughts by the wayside and focus only things that will have a positive impact on my future.

I have now been successfully running my own business from home for the last two years. Luckily I found the right mentors (some are actually seven figure earners ) to guide me through the new world of online marketing. With their help I was able to learn at such an astonishing rate. What should have taken years only took months. I have learned from their trial and error... Not Mine! This is why it it so important to work with the right person in any business opportunity you may be a part of. Through their efforts I was able to quickly implement what works and not waste any TIME or MONEY on what doesn't.

I really owe everything to my internet business. Not only did it save my financial life, in a time when everyone in my old profession was losing everything, it has given me the time freedom I always wanted. 

Whether you are looking for some passive income or like me, you need to replace a full time income fast, I can honestly say that marketing on the internet is the most amazing automated money making opportunity I've seen... and trust me I have seen it all. The best part is online marketing experience is not required, all that is needed is a strong desire to succeed and a positive attitude. Hobbies and Interests

Well, there are many hobbies that I enjoy. I'm a big time car nut...I inherited this from my dad. It started with muscle cars and drag racing, but now I'm really a fan of all types of cars and motorsports. If it has four wheels and an engine, nothing makes me happier than to make it faster and cooler. I'm also a huge sports fan and love rooting on my favorite teams! The Niners, Yankees and Man. U in case your wondering. I've played soccer since I was four and still play “the beautiful game” every Sunday.

I've recently gotten involved with martial arts. Since 2007 I've been training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu six days a week with my master La-Su Rogers who is a Machado Black Belt. A lot of the lessons learned in martial arts really carry over to business and life.  My favorite example is Leverage. In Jiu-Jitsu we use technique and position to control an opponent. Since we use leverage rather than strength a smaller man or woman can easily control or submit a larger one... we will talk more about leverage in business and life later on. 

Ashley and I do our best to stay active. Whether it be swimming, weight-training, running or taking the animals for a walk...I always feel best when I start the day with something to get the blood pumping. We have also started doing yoga together...as someone that failed the sit and reach test in PE this is a real challenge for me. It's worth the struggle though. I feel like a million bucks when I get done! We make sure to get a few laughs in every day and nothing gets us going better than our favorite show The Office. It's hysterical...I'm laughing as I type this.

The Power of Leverage

Well we touched on this a little in regards to my Jiu-Jitsu training, but leverage is one of the most powerful concepts I have learned in my home business training also. Truly understanding this concept is what separates the poor and the middle class from the wealthy.

But what is leverage, really?

Well, my Dictionary says it's: influence, power, force, control, pull, weight. Simply put, leverage is doing more and more with less and less.

Less of what? Less time, less effort, less energy, less worry, less investment.

More of what? More income, more results, more value, more free time.

If you're currently trading your TIME for MONEY, you can only exchange about 14-15 hours a day and only earn so much (and you're literally selling your life). But if you can LEVERAGE time and have “systems” set up that run on their own, there's virtually no limit to how much you can earn.

So... the true secret to living an abundant life is not to get a great job, but to learn how to leverage your life. This has obviously been made more and more possible by having the Internet at our finger tips...

How do you leverage Time?

Well, one of the most popular ways is to become a business owner - this is someone who leverages his time by having people work for him, and/or owns a network marketing business where they earn a percentage from other people's efforts (their downline).

The other way is to be an Investor - someone who uses money as leverage.

How do you leverage Money?

You let other people's money work for you.

The same way your bank makes money with your money...y our insurance company makes money with your money...y our mortgage company makes money with your money...we could go on and on
